Diego Putts His Way To An Ace

By Godfrey Robert

Putting is mostly about art. You must master the execution.

It is also about science. For knowledge, understanding, reading the line and pace of putt come into play.

Then, of course, the element of luck makes the difference.

Combined all these features in, and you will reap a reward, that is called hole-in-one/ In short, ace.

That was what Diego Woodword Bennett bagged at Mini Putt Putt Golf event at TMCC’s Garden location on.

Diego achieved the feat on hole 3, which was the second toughest hole in the event.

It was a two-tiered dog leg right hole that was about 60 feet long, sloping severely downwards with a huge left to right break.

That reads a mouthful, but what Diego heard was an earful of cheers after gaining his ace.

Diego also won the C Division title in the event which attracted close to 30 kids, the youngest a five-year-old.

As the sun was setting, the golfers came out to play in the unique event.

And in 45 minutes, it was game over but fun and enjoyment soaked in by everyone present amidst the laughter and cheers.

Those who played above themselves were presented with prizes at the dinner.
