Day 2 began bright and early as the children reported back to the Sports Complex at 8:30am, brimming with anticipation for another day of thrilling experiences. The day’s itinerary took them beyond the confines of the club to Singapore’s Island Getaway – Sentosa.
The first stop was Fort Siloso, Singapore’s only well-preserved coastal fort that served as part of the country’s defences during the World War II. The young adventurers embarked on a mesmerising tour, exploring the fortified military structures, intricate tunnels, and an on-site military museum housing a wealth of WWII artifacts. Delving into its historical significance left the children awestruck, enriching their understanding of their nation’s past and its wartime heritage.
The adventure continued at HyperDrive, where the children had a go at the Asia’s first indoor gamified electric Go-Kart circuit. It was an adrenaline-fueled activity as the little ones immerse themselves in the world of real-life racing and virtual gaming around a 3-level racetrack.
Lunch was served to prepare the children for the next adventure at UltraGolf. Here, the children displayed their putting skills on a demanding miniature golf course, striving for that elusive hole-in-one.
The peak of exhilaration awaited the children at the next activity – “Sentosa Luge,” where they embarked on a thrilling self-manoeuvred 4-wheel Luge ride, journeying through tunnels and downhill slopes. Laughter and excitement echoed along the track as the kids immersed themselves in this unforgettable adventure.
The fun-filled day concluded with a delightful dinner at the Sentosa Golf Club. Amidst a warm dining atmosphere, the children shared stories of their adventures and forged lasting bonds with their newfound friends.
It had been an amazing two days, and they were all looking forward to the next children camp.
