On Sunday, 26 March 2023, TMCC organised the annual Swim & Kick Meet 2023 at the TMCC Sports Complex’s Olympic-sized swimming pool. The competition welcomed 21 young and budding swimmers from the TMCC Swimming Programme consisting of 17 boys and 4 girls.
To ensure fair racing opportunities for our swimmers, participants were divided to compete in the various age categories (5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, 11-12 years & 13-14 years).
The competition saw the little ones splashing in action and deploying devious strokes across the distance. Freestyle, Backstroke, and butterfly were some of the strokes that the participants used.
The event noted many happy faces from the swimmers, their parents, and family supporters. It was certainly a wonderful sight to see Members bringing the next generation of kids to the pool to have fun and enjoy the exhilaration of participating in a swim meet.
Ending an exciting day of swimming on a high note, TMCC Swimming Programme Senior Coach, Mr Yang Bin presented the medals to all the 1st, 2nd and 3rd medalists. All swimmers were awarded a Certification of Participation and Best Effort Awards were also presented to individuals who put on a wonderful display of endurance and performance in this competition.
