The room buzzed with chatter, laughter, and the clinking of glasses as guests savoured cocktail beverages and great company.
The most magical moment of the evening was the symbolic lighting of the Christmas tree. The ceremony was graced by Marketing & Events Convenor Mr. Benny Tay, Lady Captain Mrs. Wendy Soh, and General Manager Mr. Elliott Gray, who together lit up the tree in a breathtaking display of twinkling lights, signalling the official start of the festive season at TMCC.
After the golf and light-up ceremony, attendees made their way to the Tampines Function Room for a sumptuous buffet dinner. The festive atmosphere was palpable as guests enjoyed a wide array of delicious dishes.
Notable highlights included the Laksa Live Station, where guests could enjoy a hot, delicious bowl of the beloved local dish, freshly prepared to order. The Christmas-themed ham and beef carving station were crowd favourites, offering succulent cuts that perfectly captured the flavours of the season. Along with other Christmassy delights, such as seasonal sides and treats, the spread had something for everyone.
As guests savoured these festive delights, the uplifting sounds of Christmas carollers continued to enchant the crowd. Their heartwarming renditions of classic holiday tunes filled the room, creating a magical atmosphere that added to the festive cheer and kept everyone in high spirits.
The evening’s festivities were seamlessly hosted by the talented Andre Hoeden, an avid golfer himself and former radio DJ, who served as the Master of Ceremony. His engaging presence, quick wit, and charisma ensured the event ran smoothly, keeping guests entertained and immersed in the festive spirit.
The night was filled with fun games, particularly the Kahoot Game Segment, which had guests eagerly participating. Highlights included Guess the Santa, where participants matched Hollywood actors to their Santa impersonations, and Name the Christmas Movie, testing everyone’s knowledge of classic festive films. Laughter and friendly competition made this segment a lively and enjoyable part of the evening.
In a surprise twist, the Emcee invited five members on stage for a light-hearted balloon-blowing competition, promising a fun prize for the fastest. Little did the contestants know, this was all part of a surprise birthday celebration for the December babies! As they hurried to blow up their balloons, the crowd soon realised that it was a lead-up to a very special moment – a surprise cake presentation to celebrate the birthdays of these five beloved members.
The crowd sang a heartfelt Happy Birthday as the birthday cake was presented on stage to Ms. Tiffany Wee and Mr. Brian Chang, who are husband and wife, along with Ms. Jolene Tan, Ms. Norlia Embong, and Mr. Leonard Yeo.
