On a thrilling first day of the highly anticipated International Series Singapore (ISS), TMCC organised an exclusive golf clinic at Garden Course led by Zimbabwean Golf Professional, Kieran Vincent.
With last year’s golf clinic being a resounding success featuring both Vincent brothers, Scott and Kieran, this year, Kieran took the reins, delivering an instructive and captivating session for a group of some 20 participants, comprising the Club’s aspiring golf juniors and enthusiastic adult Members.
As the sun bathed the Garden Course in a golden hue, Kieran’s presence brought an air of excitement and anticipation. The picturesque Garden Course provided the perfect backdrop for a day of learning and inspiration at the putting green.
The golf clinic focused on refining key aspects of executing Low, Mid and High Chip Shots and he shared tips on changing trajectories with the golf wedge to achieve this technique.
Kieran’s coaching style was a blend of technical expertise, encouragement, and a palpable passion for the sport. He incorporated a hands-on segment, allowing participants to actively practice and be familiar with the various chipping techniques themselves.
The participants were treated to personalised guidance while they practiced the chipping techniques, ensuring everyone could take away invaluable insights tailored to their skill level.
As the golf clinic came to a close, Kieran, in his closing remarks, encouraged the participants to apply the techniques they had acquired to their own golfing endeavours.
In a generous gesture, he presented all the participants with special mementos to commemorate the day. Each of them received golf gloves and Titleist golf balls adorned with his signature, which will undoubtedly serve as a lasting reminder of the inspiring day at the golf clinic.
The participants were also presented with Titleist golf balls sponsored by Titleist Southeast Asia, providing them with top-quality golf balls as they continue to hone their skills on the course.
The clinic’s success can be attributed not only to Kieran’s mastery of the game but also to his ability to connect with and inspire every participant, regardless of their age and experience. The golf clinic serves as a testament to the Club’s commitment to fostering golfing talent and promoting the sport.
